During our recent family vacation at Peppers Bluewater Resort, I was pleasantly surprised by how family-friendly the atmosphere was. The resort's proximity to Lake Tekapo allowed us to explore unique activities, like fishing and board games-our kids had a great time picking out fishing rods and we spent hours just enjoying nature together. One personal highlight was the soothing hot pools. After a day outdoors, soaking in the warm water while looking at the stars was an experience I'll cherish, especially since Lake Tekapo is known for its spectacular stargazing. As a wildlife conservationist, I appreciated the knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me with camera settings for capturing the Milky Way-it was my long-time dream! We even had a delightful chat about local conservation efforts while I set up my shots. While the main bedroom and living areas were adequate, spinning the bed around to appreciate the view really enhanced our stay. Peppers Bluewater Resort is a great option for families wanting to experience the beauty of nature while enjoying some quality time together. Highly recommend considering it for your next family getaway!
